What Is JAVELAND...?


JAVELAND is all about providing high quality Javelins, Discus, Shot Put, Hammers and all other Track & Field throwing accessories.

JAVELAND aims to have the BEST quality equipment possible. By close co-operation with our suppliers and athletes, JAVELAND ensures quality control in all our products.

JAVELAND has supplied equipment to elite high performance athletes both International and U.S. athletes.

JAVELAND throwing implements have been part of the unique winning performances of many athletes who have taken part in Penn Relays, NCAA titles as well as being used by Olympic athletes in training and International competitions.

What Is Klub Keihas...?


Klub Keihas was founded in September of 1993' as an organization that would promote the throwing events, especially Javelin. Started by Jeff Gorski, an assistant track coach at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill for 8 years. The club began when former UNC javelin/discus thrower Sean Murray and Linda Lipson approached Jeff and asked him to coach them since they had graduated but still wanted to compete. Gorski had the thought of starting a club for years, and this gave him the perfect opportunity to realize this. The name "Keihas" is derived from the Finnish word for javelin, and the great tradition of javelin throwers from Finland, along with Jeff's passion for the event, made this a natural choice.
